Sleeping and Dreaming

I have been off writing a bit. when I'm not at work I'm asleep and in the first week back at work, one of the managers at my school decided to search for peoples names and personal details On the Internet. and found some info on my blog and decided to make reference to some fairly innocuous postings in a meeting with the whole of the teaching staff present, all in the name of eSafety for the kids. Needless to say despite raising the readership of my terminally dull blog -which was created purely to keep up with what the kids are doing, which when you're an Ict teacher is exhausting-, by about 100% he is not my favourite man, and Because of his clear interest in me (sic) I have changed my name on a support website and been generally guarded since I realised posts in the forums are very easily tracable in Google! my folly having a name similar to my personal email but still very distressing for a hormonal lady who no longer sleeps between pees.

Anyway I had my first scan on Thursday I already knew I had a high Hcg so suspected twins, but apparently the Herts and Essex 3 for the price of 2 offer was rather literal in my case and one of my embabies is now 2 and I am looking at tripple buggies. I am delighted but terrified, the consultant looked more terrified than me, obviously this is now a very high risk pregnancy, and I am worried about losing them.

Despite being only 8 weeks I made a decision to tell my head teacher as the consultant said the pregnancy could run upto 3 months earlier than the usual 9 months; just the kind of shock he needed after recently promoting me. He was about as kind as he could be, suggested telling the Vice Principal and the assistant principal for staff. but telling no one else not even my line manager until it is 12 weeks. The former I found out went straight out of his office and told another member of staff, literally within the hour.

I wonder what it is about the men where I work!
